Flowers can be sent either to the home, or to the funeral home. Generally speaking, flowers should be sent to the funeral home. The funeral home delivers any live arrangements to the deceased's home within a few days of the funeral, plus all of the cards that accompanied any fresh flowers.
If you are particularly close the deceased's family you can send your flowers directly to the home.
